Poshers Beware!

I purchased a defective pair of boots and the seller Izzy@fabulizz will not provide a refund.
The interior of one boot has a manufacturing defect that doesn’t allow the inner sole to extend to the toe, so I can’t get my foot into it. It’s likely the reason they were sold.
Poshmark has sided with the seller stating is is the responsibility of the buyer to ask if both shoes are the same size. I’m out $100, and I cannot re-sell them in good conscience in this condition.
Unbelievable.

Omg, I just read this that’s terrible & I fault Poshmark too. Of course you excepted the inside of 100$+ pair of boots to be intact. The Poshmark rules state defects must be made known to the buyer. I’m knew so I’ve been studying the rules, lol. Could you get foam or fur inserts to fix so you can use, Try a shoe repair place, they still exist. I’m really disappointed in POSH, it’s full disclosure of defects. Good luck. 🍃🌸

@tcrain61 thank you for your reply!
Unfortunately the defect is part of the shoe, there’s no way to extend anything into the toe area. I too am disappointed in Posh. And shame on the seller Izzy@fabulizz. Im not sure what good it will do but I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. Thanks again for your reply.💛

@allshadesofblue I’m not trying to start a fire, but I’m new to posh and I’ve been studying the guidelines. I’ve had 140 sales, so I do understand how to list. It is the responsibility of the lister to state the condition of the item & size. I see 2 boots, apparently new with tags marked so 7.5. Did the lister say one is wearable and in new condition & the other has a defect and can’t be worn?

@allshadesofblue part 2
Posh needs to clean this mess up, they got their money and are happy. I call 🤬who would sell a pair of shoes with a different size for each foot, especially when one is unwearable! The listing should have clearly stated this. they have to list that in the listing. 100$ is a lot of money. Shame on the seller but even more shame on Posh for being ridiculous & unprofessional. I’m so sorry. Look at posh rules and use them to help you. Don’t give up. 🤞

@allshadesofblue the seller had to state there was a defect in the Rt boot, this is about selling defective items.

@tcrain61 thank you! I wish I could show you the correspondence from Posh. They zeroed in on my complaint that they were two different sizes, and ignored the issue of the defect. They said since the manufacturer marked them both as size 7.5, the seller may sell them as both being 7.5. Posh said it’s the buyers responsibility to ask questions, implying its the buyers responsibility to ask if the shoes are actually the same size. What????!!! Egregious.

@tcrain61 I did not give up. I finally received an email (last one) asking for a photo. I of course can not provide a photo of the inside of the toe area, though I offered to take them to a third party, maybe the manufacturer, to obtain an affidavit. No response. BTW this happened in Feb ‘19.
Thank you for your support! 🙏🏻
Shame on Izzy@Fabulizz.

@allshadesofblue agreed, and shame on Posh. They should have sent you a label to mail item to them. I agree, Shame on that seller! Sorry to stir this up again, I understand your frustration. Posh support seems to be non existent. I would contact manufacturer, you never know. Good luck. 🍃🌸

Posh def should have handled this differently. But, is there a reason you didn't accept the limited jeans? Payment has been released but I was just wondering

@theclassybroad thank you! Yes it was horrible, and frankly shocking. I’ve learned my lesson. I now have to ask if both shoes are physically the same size even though they’re both marked the same size. Sigh
