slystyle2018 @stevensonkatie I have a few q’s if you don’t mind! 1) is a boutique item wholesale or can it be from a department store? 2) what type of seller protection does Poshmark offer? I had a bad experience with a scam buyer never sending the item back to me and was refunded 3)what is a bundle? Thanks!

stevensonkatie @slystyle2018 Boutique is intended to mean items that were purchased wholesale and are being sold retail for the first time. However, people tend to use boutique and nwt interchangeably.

stevensonkatie @slystyle2018 A bundle is an option to purchase multiple items from the same seller and only pay for shipping once. Some sellers choose to set a bundle discount for their closet, and sellers can also offer free or discounted shipping on bundles to individual buyers.

stevensonkatie @slystyle2018 Poshmark allows 3 days for buyers to receive and inspect items and alert if there is a problem. If a buyer wants to file a complaint, they have to provide photographic evidence that the item they received doesn’t match the seller’s listing. As a seller, the best thing you can do is to be as detailed as possible in your listing and post plenty of photos. In my experience, Poshmark does a good and fair job with disputes.

fashionfreak50 Hey @stevensonkatie! I have a couple of questions. I noticed that someone put 1 of my items in a bundle. She hasn't asked me a question about it nor has she made me an offer, it's just sitting there in a bundle. I have only just started my closet and only have about 11 or so items, not sure if she's waiting on more things to be loaded. However, am I supposed to react to this? She hasn't commented on my item or made a lower offer for it.

fashionfreak50 My second question is about parties. I would love to participate in some parties. I cannot figure out how to load my things in the parties. I have read all of the info on the parties but cant find any information on this or even find out how to message the party admins for each party. Thank you for your help!

stevensonkatie @fashionfreak50 Everyone uses the bundle function differently! Sometimes buyers click add to bundle instead of like to bookmark the items they’re interested in. The buyer may also be waiting to see if you offer her a discount on either the price or shipping; each seller does that differently as well. It’s totally up to you!

stevensonkatie @fashionfreak50 When you share an item from your closet during the active hours of a party, you’ll have the option to share items that qualify for the party theme to the party in addition to your followers. Poshmark doesn’t offer a direct/private message option, which is why you haven’t been able to figure that part out!

fashionfreak50 @stevensonkatie I think I figured out both of my issues, even offered a discount to the gal who has my sweater in her bundle! While the Friday party was happening, it looked as if I could share items to the party as it was happening. It was on the upper right hand of the the item screen. I tried to stay within the theme of the party. There seemed to be a lot of shares of my things at that time and I got many more followers as well. How do I know if my things were in the party?

stevensonkatie @fashionfreak50 It’s hard to see your items in the party feed because everyone is sharing so fast, and the most recently shared items show up at the top of the party feed. I would first go into the main feed of the party so you already have it open, then share just one item from your closet to the party, and then quickly go back and refresh the party feed. Your item should be near the top! If an item isn’t eligible for a party, the app will tell you, so I’d guess that you are doing it right!

fashionfreak50 @stevensonkatie Hi! Me again! Lol. So I don’t think I’ve figured out how to set up my profile where I have a “meet your posher” kind of thing, and it also has all of your sizes and brands you like and you can write a greeting. Where do I go to set that up? Thanks!

stevensonkatie @fashionfreak50 To create your meet the posher listing, you first add a listing to your closet that’s all about you ~ pictures, an intro, whatever you want. After you’ve added that listing to your closet, go to your about page by clicking on the circle picture of you at the top of your closet. Beneath the where you live, etc, details, there should be an option to link a listing to Meet Your Posher.
