seadragonfly @beccaafeher I felt bad but I hate trying to explain to people why I can’t sell something that give me little to no profit. I don’t make much anyway and I really want buyers to get the things they like. I often feel like I’m stuck in the middle.

tamara2530 Yes! I was asked to sell something for $7 and give free shipping for a $18 item.... I was like soooo I am going to pay you for my item?🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

seadragonfly @tamara2530 Happens way too often. Then I feel bad for turning the offer down. But this is a very small business. I’m a great grandmother trying to make a few bucks. I don’t make a lot of money. Right now I’m trying to make money for a down payment on a vehicle that will accommodate the wheelchair I started using about a year ago. Nothing fancy, just practical. tamara2530 @seadragonfly agreed! Yes I had to quit work in 2017 and oxygen dependent for rare autoimmune disease and pulmonary hemosiderosis at 46 Been locked in since last March due to covid. Stay safe and good luck to you as well☺️😊

trinitystresor @seadragonfly @tamara2530 first off, you shouldn’t feel badly and while all of us love a great bargain, it’s downright disrespectful to make lowball offers. Period. I can understand newbie buyers who are on Posh to negotiate a good deal. But I have fellow sellers who offer half or less than half of my asking price. It’s rude. Smh.

seadragonfly @meisch1234 It’s very hard. I love a good bargain like anyone. But I know many of us do this to supplement our incomes, not as a hobby. And I don’t want to take advantage of anyone. I think a lot of buyers don’t realize how much Poshmark takes.

blushing_dahlia Happy New Year!!! I am so tired of being lowballed. I feel like I get taken advantage of for being too nice. I had a guy just offer 7 for a pair of Hurley sweats.. I countered at 8 and explained I needed to make at least 5. He declined and countered back at 7. This is how I’m surviving right now. I hear you about that. Im horrible at graphics… do you mind if I use a couple of your slides? I will pay you back with 20+ shares. Thank you for considering 💕💕💕

seadragonfly @islandgirl1621 Please feel free to use anything you need. I understand times are hard for everyone. But some of the offers I receive are downright insulting. Like $18. for an $87 doll! He was only displayed as part of a collection of my dolls. I have to sell my house and move to an apt because I’m 69 and disabled. I have to downsize. And then I get an offer that’s ridiculous.
