This is great and makes so much sense. To me I have a lot to unload before I move so I rather have lots of sales and yes repeat customers than pricing items real high and it just sits there. Thanks for the blog! May we all have much success! 🎀

Interesting! I usually slash things to the bone because I'd rather make a couple and turn it over. I attended a meeting of money people once who said better to make $1 than $0. Not sure I buy that but I'd rather unload a dog in the hopes of bringing in a fresh money spinner. :)
corporatebarbie
@sweetcheeses I love your strategy! Clearly it has benefitted me personally 😉😘

Ha! You are correct. I will say it breaks my heart when I take a loss. I'm such a consummate bargain hunter. *ouchy*

I'm new to PoshMark but learning as I go! I'm surprised when someone offers $17 on an item that's a deal listed at $49 on an item that originally cost $250. Lowball offers notwithstanding...I'm always willing to negotiate a bit. Do you even respond to lowball offers or just decline?
corporatebarbie
@regrrl I hear ya! And I know it can be frustrating, but I always respond. If it really is a total lowball and not worth negotiating, I will decline the offer and then comment to the person thanking them and letting them know it's too low. Something along the lines of, "Thanks for your offer, but I am hoping to get more for it. If you would like to make a strong offer, I am happy to negotiate."

Love your tips - agree with this standpoint - my friend always disagrees with me on it and says I sell nice things for nothing😂
corporatebarbie
@nhoogewerf thanks! I mean you can’t blame someone for trying, right? I will get your sweatshirt in the mail ASAP. I love Saugatuck!
nhoogewerf
@corporatebarbie thank you, I was just in Saugatuck last week!
