Poupee Millet Doll by Rigodon Made In France

Vintage Poupee Millet art doll by Marie Paule Rigodon, made in France. This cloth body, posable porcelain beauty is filled with pannicum seed. A "Rigodon Made In France” tag is sewn into the clothing at the back neckline. There is a small identifying signature "MPR" on the left leg just above the shoe line. The clothing colors are muted and subdued but nonetheless striking. The "bird" hat is outrageous! A missing "flower petal" on the back of the hat does not prevent a show-stopping frontal view. The doll clothing and porcelain face, arms, and legs show no signs of wear. The hat is showing signs of slight petal separation from the bird body. A rare and unique collectible art doll creation.
