I am curious about this beautiful bag and would love to know a few things: is it fairly safe to presume there would be no chipping/fading of the paint -- Also,would you say it looks more pink or violet -- I visited your website and love your talent. maggiek01 Hello! Sorry I missed this question a few days ago... Thanks for the compliments on my work! Color is very subjective to the individual, people see color differently. I used both pink and violet dye so they blend together. Which leads to your next question, it is actually dye, not paint, so there is no chipping. It is a very soft leather and the dye does not affect the texture that is the difference between dye and paint. You want to keep out of direct sun to keep vibrant. I hope that helps!

maggiek01 I will pull it out and double check on the scent, I do not remember there being any scent, and its in great condition. Also, the patterning you were inquiring about because of the ruching of the leather it lends itself to variation in the concentration of the dye. All in all a very versatile piece you can use as a clutch or a wallet. Thanks for your interest in my work and checking out my site! ;)
