I also have a variety of cabinet knobs, or coat hooks that I can quickly and easily add to the frame. Traditionally I would use 2 knobs or hooks on the bottom of the frame for hanging your keys, coats, dog leashes, etc. I also have an abundance of cabinet pulls, sizes vary as well as metal material. Cabinet pulls are a great option if you choose to hang a hand towel, or just a decorative towel.
