Prof Fritz Klee Oyster Handle Vases HUTSCHENREUTHER ART DECO School Set

Designed around 1915/20, executed by Lorenz Hutschenreuther AG, Selb, porcelain, black and gilt, slightly rubbed, underside marked, height 12.5 cm, (B).This is one from Draft School (Fachschule) line. Hutschenreuther was well known as one of the greatest porcelain figurine makers for about 200 years. Its most famous Lion mark is a symbol of high quality and artistic design. Hutschenreuthers art department was established in 1917. Nowadays, the Lion mark is under umbrella of Rosenthal Group. One vase is marked on the backside with standard green production mark of Art Department used in c. 1920 - 1938. The other does not have the lion mark. Excellent condition. Nonsmoking home.
