schandler @jls83007, Here you go! Was your post office closed already? Was that for me or The Goldie person before. I'm sorry I m not sure if you are telling me you didn't get it mailed. I'm confused. I don't think any post offices are open on Sunday, I know they aren't here or even in Louisville.

jls83007 @schandler yes that post was for you. I had to use that listing because it wouldn't allow me to change the picture on your ring listing. But it's all packed up and ready to go. It just needs a ride to the post office Monday morning. I will get it out first thing Monday. I know they're not open Sunday but the one I use is usually open until 2 on Saturdays so I thought I could get it out today. I'm so sorry about this. I know how excited you are to get it. molala24 @schandler I was looking for a way to add insurance to a PM purchase, and my search somehow led me to this post. My PO told me that I couldn’t add insurance and use the PM label. Could you please tell me how to do this? (I don’t want to go off PM since I don’t really know this buyer.).

schandler @molala24 sorry I’m just now seeing this I was out on a cruise ship. When I did this my post office just added the extra charge of the insurance onto the package and I paid the difference. It was an expensive item and it protected me and the buyer so it was worth it.

molala24 @schandler thanks for getting back with me! I did that this week (with extra insurance), but my buyer asked for a signature confirmation, too. That made it have a new tracking #, and I got a little reprimand from PM about that. The same buyer wants to buy another bundle and do it the same way, and I am a little worried about it. Thanks for letting me know (and see) how it worked for you!

cheri8267 @schandler can You tell me how you added the insurance? I just went to the post office and they told me they can’t add the insurance. They said that the insurance needs to be added to the label because it’s a prepaid label. How did you do it? I really appreciate your time

cheri8267 @molala24 i'm sorry to post again but I'm in a quandary. How did you buy the insurance because my post office refuses to do it. I would have to buy an entire new label that won't be associated with Poshmark. Did you get your paym ent from Poshmark? I really appreciate your advice.

molala24 @cheri8267 My small town PO didn’t want to, either, but the large one about 10 miles away said there was no problem with it. I also got signature verification at the same time (at the request of the buyer). Both together were maybe $8 more? They printed out a new shipping label with a different tracking number (which I didn’t realize was different at the time) and it was in its way. I let the buyer know the new #.

molala24 To be safe, I also messaged PM and let them know the new tracking #. They acknowledged it, but told me I should only use their tracking and not to repeat this or it could invalidate their reimbursement to me. The package arrived safely, and my buyer accepted it, and my funds were released, which makes me think that the new tracking# probably somehow had a connection to the old one embedded in it in some way.

tagam1 I have a question relating to this thread maybe someone could help... I sold a pretty expensive kate spade clutch and have a copy of the receipt showing that a 3lb box was sent to posh for authentication. Poshmark just cancelled the sale due to the item being "missing". I don't know what to do. it was a $1500 bag and im lost. USPS won't take the claim because Posh's label doesn't state if it has insurance on it.

tagam1 @clutchandmain hi. Its been so long i dont recall. But i do know that additional insurance can be bought on top of the poshmark postage. That can be done in the post office only and i would recommend it on high ticket items over $500.

cottonandsteel @tagam1 I know this an old post but how did it go. I had a large the other day and am afraid to even send it to Posh. Usps wont insure it with a Posh label. And the way usps is running right now I dont know if I want to take the chance
