Featuring irregular yarns, the "EX" denim features an obnoxious amount of slub due to the low-tension weave of the fabric, and accentuates the streaky rain-like texture seen throughout the jeans. While the warp threads have been dyed to a deep indigo hue, it is the combination of Kakishibu (persimmon fruit) weft yarns that give these jeans the beautiful brown hue that can be seen in the fabric.
