gingereden Hi! Is this as vividly violet as it appears? the photos show such a gorgeous color! I had been looking at the version of it with the metal busk, but it doesn't quite glow violet the same way this one does in photos. I think they may both be the same, just slightly different latch. The difference in lighting can account for a lot when it comes to my favorite shade (I like purple that has a heavier blue base, giving it a violet tone instead of more red which makes it plum)

brendamk @gingereden I agree… purple should be PURPLE, not ‘red violet’. As a child I was so adamant that my purple crayons had to be either purple or blue violet… so I get it. 😆

brendamk @gingereden This is definitely more of a true purple. I added a photo of it taken outside (unaltered, not adjusted or highlighted), in natural light in the shade… at one angle when the sun hit it just right as I walked out the door, a corner edge had a slight red violet glean, but then another angle elsewhere had a blue violet glean… go figure! So it must be the fabric under different wave lengths. But overall, I’d say it’s a true purple. I hope the additional photo helps!
