Depending on the lighting, it's somewhere between maroon and a deep eggplant purple Marked as a medium but seems to run a bit small because it fit me almost perfectly and I typically wear a small . Has a cutout pattern on the outer layer that gives it a really cute look. Would look great with a belt! It's a very soft, almost velvety fabric
