Morning,
This is a Kelly-style (named for the late Grace Kelly) handbag pocketbook - also known as a "Daytime Pocketbook". This would be from no sooner than 1957 but more likely in the early to mid-'60s. If there is no tag or inked stamp mark on the lining denoting the body is actually patent leather, then it's not. It would be a high grade of patent vinyl.
And, too, the Susan Gail purse company started in 1956.
