Beautiful antique dresser glove box made in the pyrography style ~ the free handed art of decorating wood with burn marks. This rare antique dresser box was originally designed to store a lady’s gloves but it can be used as a lovely decor accent, to store jewelry or special treasures, or a clever way to hide away remote controls on your coffee table! The top of the box is decorated in an Art Nouveau style and depicts a beautiful woman amidst florals and tree branches. The floral design continues on the sides. The front lid has a brass latch closure with two metal hinges on the back. Measures 12.5” length x 3.25” height x 5” width Good vintage condition with lovely patina on metal hinges and lid lock, and small paint spots on the box.
