Queen’s Fine Bone China “Hooker’s Fruit” Tureen Covered Serving Dish

Tureens are serving dishes, often used for soups or stews. They are characterized by their broad, deep shape, handles, and a domed lid. The “Hooker’s Fruit” floral fruit pattern was designed by William Hooker under license from the Royal Horticultural Society. The design features a white base with colorful fruit designs of traditional, English fruits, such as apples, peaches, pears, apricots, and plums. This pattern is now discontinued. It is approximately 11 inches from the outside of the handles. The height of the bowl itself is approximately 3 inches. From the base of the bowl to the top of the lid knob it is approximately 5.25 inches tall. Condition: This tureen serving piece is in very good used condition. No chips or cracks. There is some minor wear on the base and on the inner edge of the lid. See photos.
