I just noticed something. People would often ask me to text/call/email them outside of Poshmark. When I politely decline, their comment usually disappears while my reply stays put. Can anyone explain why this is? Just purely out of curiosity!

emaleighrust These are scammers looking to make a deal outside of posh. Don’t contact them and report the comment. Usually their profiles are suspended or deleted, which is why the comment disappears. Don’t make transactions outside of posh- it’s likely you can send your item and never get paid. Poshmark helps protect against that. Hope this helps. :)

hoarderhaven I would’ve told you had I seen your comment sooner, when I first got here as a seller I had the same thing happened several times, at first, before I knew who they were, it was very draining for me because Im bed ridden etc. I was on the other selling sites for over four years and we didn’t have them there, I wonder why it is just on PM. I love that cat he’s a cool cat
