libbynikki @proudrowan Hi! I don’t mean to barge into your question, however I am an AgScience Major and avid Agriculturalist. Rubber contains stearic acid, which is a byproduct derivative from steer. It’s unavoidable. If you use toothpaste or shampoo, you use animal byproducts in disguise. 😝

proudrowan @libbynikki hello - I want to make sure you know that stearic acid is a long-chain fatty acid; used as an emulsifier typically; and usually is taken from palm or coconut oil. As a vegan and plant-based cosmetics maker myself, I am educated on the matter thank you.
