Fine wool, with a mild blend, they are tailored, with a waistband and fly, but are a riot of utility/sport. Lots of pockets, from the inset hip ones, to the button-close, gussetted and flapped leg Cargo ones, both leg and back, and even a classic 'watch' pocket, set at the waist in front. In back, there are also two pockets, deep, and flapped to close. The waistline is set in smoothly, fitted, not stitched, and carries belt loops. The fabric is fine wool, in a deep, charcoal-black color (not brownish by pics), and they sport every thing a cold day could bring on. Little adjust-tabs are set at the sides of the waistband, the ankles, and the pleated, cargo-pockets also button closed from inside. Good stuff; fabulous tailoring.
