Will it only stay secure if in belt loops?

@ashleypbren I used this once for a trip to Europe, and the only reason I don't need it is because of the brown accents as I prefer all black. I tried it two ways. First through the belt loops of my pants, worked fine. I don't like having to undo a purse to undo my pants so I just wore it without going through the loops along my waist/belt line. That was fine as well. It is essentially a belt with a small purse on it, so as long as you have the buckle fastened you will be fine.

I also only put necessary things in it to keep it flat and was able to have it under jackets and tunic tops without anyone noticing.
