RARE Antique Art Deco BUTLER & WILSON Pierrot Bracelet Harlequin Green Bakelite

Super RARE & Collectible BUTLER & WILSON PIERROT BANGLE. Beautiful Art Deco style Galaith bangle with the face of Pierrot, clouds and the moon decorations. "Extremely Rare Pierrot Clown / (Muse) Figural Bracelet. Bracelets from this range are featured in several collector books, including, "European Designer Jewelry", by Ginger Moro, "Jewelry of the 20th Century", by Lillian Baker, and in "Collecting....Jewelry" by Leigh Leshner. The bracelet shown here was made by Butler and Wilson Company. They were composed of Galalith, discovered, by accident, by an Austrian chemist (Friedrich) Adolph Spitteler (1846–1940) along with Wilhelm Krische in 1897. Galalith presented at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1900, and was distributed by the Compagnie Française de Galalithe. This piece is exceptional and so unique.
