RARE Antique Print by Fritz Kredel Soldiers of The American Army 7th Regiment New York State Militia - 1861 original color plate print. Featuring private in overcoat and private in full filed equipment. As you can see from my pictures that this is a very old and distressed print with some damage, i.e. watermarks and slight fading. But this certainly grabbed my attention when I first saw it. I dearly love these old weathered prints as they meant a great deal of sentiment to whomever owned it. The backside of this picture has a description of the entire 7th regiment. This humble little black wooden frame is approximately 12.5" x 9.5".
