@junqueranick between the dense wool weave and the leather, almost completely…and you would absolutely remain fully insulated when wet. One of the many benefits of fine wool garments, they stay warm, even when wet. The leather/wool combo on this jacket is a thing of beauty.

Hi could you give me the chest in inches for comparison to a us jacket. Also, in your opinion is this true to size or a little tighter or looser? Barbie’s can be all over the map with that sort of thing!

@mdmaisto hi there, I have not forgotten about you! So sorry for the delayed response, I will take an exact measurement of the jacket for you ASAP. As for the fit, it’s definitely more European style (tailored/tapered fit), even relative to other Barbour’s I’ve owned. I quite like the fit actually, just can’t justify keeping it when I have half a dozen others in currently in rotation 😅
