Completely heartbreaking in so many ways. So many people displaced, so many scared and so much land being devoured. blu333skies @sbrnakiss they are totally batik I listed this like 3 years ago and just reopened it for sale but I paid at least $240 for them- I've had them for about 5 years and was told they're one of a kind. I loved them too much I was too afraid to trash the bottoms at shows so I've just held them like an art piece- they're basically brand new and now life isn't giving me much chance to wear them so....they deserve some good lovin'

sbrnakiss @blu333skies I've purchased several beautiful pieces from Melodia herself and her pieces are ABSOLUTELY worth their weight in gold!! She has a lot of ready to wear but she did some one of a kind editions that are highly coveted!! She collaborated with Phoenix Rising and they did a run of different printed batiks, I think whatever they have left is all they're making. Each pant was hand painted. I'd have a hard time parting with my collection I'd charge a grip! 😉

sbrnakiss Awww. I hear yah! These pants are treasures! I hoard all sorts of these lovely pieces I come across. Like you I would probably only rehome them to someone who would appreciate them. These first came out in Spring/Summer 2009 if I'm not mistaken. She use to go out to Bali often and would collaborate with a lot of similar designers out there.

sbrnakiss She made a run of these luxurious hooded, fur trimmed tapestry coats that she maybe made less than 10 of. I didn't get one but years later this lady on eBay had no idea what she was selling and I bought it for $60 shipped!! They went for about $500. Talk about hitting the lottery! 😊😊😊

xkatrix I have these identical pants in both their grey and this brown version, and can attest they are SUPER comfy and amazing, but not one of a kind. Doesn't make them less awesome though! I will say that you may have gotten them from one of the designer's earliest sales if you paid that much though-- mine were both off her website, and the same price as all her current pants under her collaborative MeloPhoenix line. (140-180). They turn up about every couple months on ebay for around $60-100.
