RARE Exquisite SADLER GOLD & BLACK Teapot Stamped, Numbered & Signed on the Base

An absolutely outstanding teapot in the sought-after pumpkin cushion shape made by Sadler of Staffordshire England circa 1930-40’s. The photographs do not do it justice. The gold decoration has lost none of its lustre against a rich cream background which continues to the spout, handle and finial. Inside is a patch of crazing which does not show on the exterior otherwise it is in excellent and unused condition. On the spout and top of handle has slight wear but it was originally hand-decorated by the artist using a kiln firing process. This is over 75 years old and possibly one of the finest examples of its kind available in the world today. Measures 10”L x 6”W x 6”H Capacity is 4 Cups = 32oz
