The company dates from 1850-1899 (when Thomas Maddock died) in North Staffordshire England before John Maddock (Thomas’ son) renamed the company “John Maddock & Sons”. John Maddock emigrated to the US in 1923. The maker’s mark on the back dates these bowls to approximately 1870-1896. Five bowls in total.
