RARE FIND Sascha Brastoff Coffee Carafe gold/silver NW American native motif

This coffee carafe is exquisite with the gold and silver creatures in the style of the NW American native motif. Sascha Brastoff was an American designer who had a ceramic studio in Los Angeles, CA. He died in 1993. This piece is in excellent condition considering that it has been used. There is a hairline fracture in the lid. There are several places where there are pin head size specks of paint. On the lid there is reddish dot. On the side with the smaller creature there is a dot of gold paint towards the bottom and on the side with the larger creature there a dot of gold paint towards the top. There are minor scuff marks on the sides of the coffee pot. On the bottom of the coffee pot there is a gold "071". There are no instructions for use and care. A wonderful representation of Sasha Brastoff's world known exquisite designs and workmanship. Listed on another website as well. Height: 15.5" Width: 8"
