RARE Gerald Porzellan Bavaria Capodimonte-Style Military Man w Dog Figurine

RARE vintage Gerold Porzellan capodimonte-style porcelain military man with white, whippet-like dog at heel. Figurine has the coveted and rare green ‘Bavaria’ mark that signifies it was produced prior to 1949. It has an additional gold mark of crown with ‘N’ below it. Mold # 4766. He stands with authority and gravitas with outstretched arm. The dog take him seriously. He is outfitted in cobalt blue waistcoat length military coat with white sash with gold accents. he has a gold star / medal above his heart. Thigh-high black boots and Continental Cocked Hat announce a napoleon -like presence. His hair is neatly tied with a manly bow and is powdered to perfection. His sword is sheathed to the back of his coat. At time of this posting, no other copies of this figurine were available online. Priced based off rarity with accounting for condition issues listed below. Size: 9.75” x 5.5” x 3.5” Condition: The sword hilt and neck of head appear to have been glued and restored.
