This exquisite piece is a rare, hard-to-find stretch glass from Fenton Glass's later period, featuring the "Sheffield" pattern and "Peaches and Cream" color. The charming Fenton Opaline Brides Bowl is in impeccable condition, displaying a delightful pink hue against a milky white background. This color is part of the Fenton Ice Cream Colors series. The bowl is in pristine factory condition without any chips, cracks, or defects. It showcases the Fenton logo embossed on the bottom, along with the number 8. Its design includes a clear glass base with a starburst pattern and narrow ribs extending outward. The gradient transition from clear to pink and then to white is captivating. The bowl's dimensions are 11 inches in diameter, with a 4 1/2 inch wide base, and it stands 3-1/2 inches tall. Items like this are becoming increasingly scarce, especially in such condition. Photographs have been taken from every angle and in different lighting conditions. The price is firm. Late Period stretch glass, unlike Early Period glass, is thicker and heavier. These pieces are usually marked with the Fenton logo inside an oval, followed by a number—8, 9, or 0—denoting their creation in the 1980s, 1990s, or after 2000, respectively. The thicker glass serves to reduce breakage and to fit older molds, which often needed buffing to remove rust or pitting, thus widening the space between the plunger and the mold.
