A classic documentary exploring the training and relationship between horse and rider in four of the great riding partnerships of our time: German Master of Dressage Reiner Klimke with his horse Ahlerich; Denmark's Anne Grethe Jenson with Marzog; Yorkshire's Christopher Bartle with his cheeky gelding Wily Trout and West Germany's Gabriela Grillo with Grandison narrated by Olympic Trainer Ferdi Eilberg.
This video is 1 of a 4-part collection of the "Horse in Sport" covering the disciplines of Dressage, Show Jumping, Driving and Polo and is recognizably the finest documentary series ever produced on the bond between horses and their riders. Every single one of these tapes are extremely hard to come by as they are no longer in production and have never been done in CD form. Visible wear to the paper lining within the case is easily seen in the photos, while the case itself is in sound condition. Please expect some crackling in the opening credits much like you would see on 8mm or 16mm film.
A Transalantic Film in Co-Production with Channel 4 Television UK and ABC Australia, 1986
Vintage and extremely rare, there isn't an equestrian library that would be complete without this timeless collection.
