designers_4you @ahavat the appraisal was done 4 or 5 years ago by Christian Nobel Furs in Omaha NE ... i am downsizing my family home in Omaha and moving to Georgia to get married or I would not part with this coat ... it is truly exquisite

ahavat Congratulations! The appraisal was done at purchase? The model is very petite and the coat looks large on her. What is your size in clothing? Perhaps we can solve the size by comparing our sizes. I would prefer to email you privately as this personal. Is their an option here?

designers_4you @ahavat What is the cost of insurance on this item? It will also require a larger box than standard USPS Priority Mail provides unless you know a secret in this regard ... I am expecting to need to purchase one .... and I have the Long Foldover CN Zipper Bag

ahavat Not sure, however it is cheap per $1000.00. Like 3 or 4$ a $1000. Priority mail covers $50.00 for free. Depending on what it weighs? Over 2lbs is one limit. Their is chart for estimating shipment at flat rate all over the US and box sizes up. Don't ship the bag over with it. Bubble wrap is light and good for impact.

designers_4you @ahavat I read information on Poshmark; it is my understanding they use USPS Priority Mailing boxes. Unusual sized boxes like this coat requires; I believe we purchase and they will send the prepaid postage. I haven't had this issue before so we should look for more information regarding boxes ... I will call CN Furs here regarding the proper way to ship the coat ... they do it all the time.. USPS uses box size and weight but Poshmsrk gets a good rate ... perhaps there is a forum on this ...

designers_4you @ahavat Good Morning:) since we have exchanged personal measurements via email I wanted to Post on Poshmark; that I cannot accept your offer in email of $2000 ... all sales must go through Poshmark not as requested; because it's how they get paid. PM may be able to offer an upgraded shipping label; however, they do not provide the right size box for a full length rate fur coat ... my furrier will box the item and use PM's upgraded label

ahavat I appreciate your efforts in this, however fit is a concern for me as I have conveyed on a large purchase. So a return is important to me, if I needed it. I suggest PoshMark give more freedom to there sellers. I have not sold on PoshMark and so I know very little about it other than their is no direct communication to the organization. ahavat Divulging information about the condition, age of the item is important to the buyer to help establish worth for an offer. Is the item vintage and is the appraisal available to the buyer before the point of sale? Now, I have outlined my concerns about my purchasing on PoshMark. Hopefully, this will be taken as constructive for the PoshMark organization.
