RARE Marcel Boucher pre-1945 letter initial A rhinestones Phrygian cap brooch

Great condition, minor gold and rhodium plating loss. This piece is marled with the early Phrygian cap and pre-dates the serial numbers that would be added to each piece beginning in 1945. These letter or initial pieces are exceedingly rare and difficult to find. Features clear faceted glass rhinestones in baguettes and diamantes. The scripted A is 3-dimensional and is a great showcase of the flowing lines Boucher is so well known for, giving this piece a feeling of depth and movement. Clasp functions perfectly.
