RARE Signed LOET Vermeil Sterling Silver Horse Pendant Pin Brooch

An extremely rare find is this LOET figural piece estimated to be from the 60's - a lovely "resting horse" pendant pin in rich Vermeil Sterling Silver with an artful combination of shiny to matte finishes. Signed LOET for the Dutch artist Loet Vanderveen, known for his sophisticated table top sculptures of animals and wildlife in bronze. This rare and remarkable piece measures 1-3/4" - from the tips of the ears to front hooves - by 1-1/4" wide. Pendant Pin has a nice solid weight to it, tipping my small jewelry scale at beyond 20grams. Pinback clasp is a traditional rollover in good working order. Nice vintage condition with patina consistent of a pre-owned piece of its nature and time. Hard to come by, and a highly collectible piece.
