Magnificent and extremely rare St. John Collection Marie Gray jacket completely covered in black paillettes with the famous black and white checkerboard surrounded by red and gold paillettes. Truly stunning. Perfect for an evening on the town and also looks fantastic with faded jeans and boots. You will be noticed in this beauty! This vintage piece has no size tags so please message me if you would like any specific measurements. Large golden buttons add that final touch, as well as gold cording. Lovingly worn and a small bag with additional paillettes is included in case any should come off. This jacket is a true work of art.

Hi could u please measure pit to pit
mac1948
@tanyableke Good evening! With the two sides touching it measures approximately 18 inches; however I always wore it with either a white silk blouse or cami underneath which gave me more room for the bust and I think looks classier with a blouse underneath--just my opinion. I hope this helps--it's a once in a lifetime jacket. Mary

@mac1948 that seems like a size 4 too small for me. You wore it. May I asked your size?

@tanyableke Hello again. I have a 39 inch bustline so I have to buy usually a US 8 to accommodate my bust. In French and Italian sizes, I usually take a 44, sometimes a 42 if it runs larger. I wish I could give you more information so just let me know if you want additional measurements. Mary

Hello again Mary. As for my lowest price, I could only go down maybe $20 from my asking price because Poshmark takes such a large percentage of the sale where two 0ther sites where Ilist don't take that large percentage so I'm honestly better of selling on one of those two websites. Mary

@mac1948 Thank you for following up, Mary. Yes, the Posh fee hurts. Between the fee and lowball offers, especially on items priced below $20, sometimes I feel it’s not worth it.
I’m still debating on your beautiful jacket. It’s quite stunning. If I don’t buy it I’ll cross fingers that you get your full asking price 😊! ~Mary
