RARE. This sweat shirt was worn by the writing staff of Late Night Show. Large.

This is truly one of a kind. This sweatshirt was one of two cold weather items The Late Night staff would wear. It's an Eddie Bauer sweatshirt, very heavy (there's significant fill to make the sweatshirt VERY warm), zippered pockets, and insulated hood as well. I briefly wrote for the show 85' through 87') and was given a couple of these to weather New York Winters. All the writing on the jacket is Swiss Embroidered and the back's iconic "Late Night with David Letterman" emblem is embroidered directly into the fabric. Though my name is on it ("Ronnie"), it can easily be plucked-out with a tool that removes hem stitching. You can easily have your name Swiss embroidered in place of mine. Quite honestly, I see a true David Letterman fan purchasing this. It can't be found ANYWHERE other than collections, etc. It's a piece of television history and it's priced accordingly. If you Google a search for an something even close to this, there's nothing on the web at all, at least not for sale. People I worked with back in the day, when the show was at its peak and David Letterman was the hottest thing going, would get stunning prices when they sold Late Night items. This sweatshirt has been relatively lightly worn. There's another I've worn the hell out of and I'm keeping. There are no holes, tears, anything that would detract from this looking relatively new. it can be machine washed and tumble dried cool, or dry cleaned.
