hummus029 Is the outer portion real gold, not just the clasp? The coin is 9kt? I'm just trying to make sure I'm understanding. Is the coin worth anything?

rockymtndeals To the absolute best of my knowledge it's all real gold; the coin is 9kt according to the microstamp. I don't know if the coin has any other collector's value, I've never been able to find anything comparable.

rockymtndeals Yes, I saw that too when I was researching the designer, however, those pieces are specifically marked when they're gold-filled. That's what leads me to believe the clasp is indicative of the entire piece.
