The two side compartments each have a zippered pocket . Gold-tone hardware Outside dimensions: Length: 12.5 inches Width: 4.5 inches Height: 9 inches Handle Drop: 6.5 inches Disclaimer: there is a very faint mark on the back (you will have to enlarge the photo as large as you can to even see it), I'm not sure if it is a small scratch or just a fold in the leather from being stored flat.
