RARE Vintage Hillcraft Pearl & Gold Filled Necklace & Earrings Set

A circa 1950s lovely rare and unique Hillcraft demi parure with a gold-filled setting including both the faux pearl necklace and earrings. Hillcraft was a unique business venture located in Rockville, Indiana beginning in the 1940s, but they did not start selling until 1950. Started by Bill May, Allen Chamberlin, and Charlie Ellis who later went to create CastleCraft jewelry. Much of the jewelry was made by patients from the Indiana State TB Sanatorium and Hillcraft did not have a store front or sell in stores. They only sold to nonprofits, clubs, and groups for their fundraisers. 000291
