norine_claffey Hello - Are the flaws on the hard shell exterior the white marks? Can they be removed or are they permanent from pitting or scratches? Is the finish worn off on the metal rivets? What are straps made of? Looks like there are some white marks on them. Can they be removed or buffed out? Thanks for the info! Much appreciated!

meganroberts614 Good morning- I believe the white marks are the result of small scratches, based upon touch. I have not tried to restore this bag yet. I do sense this it’s restorable but I am not crafty. The exterior side brass or gold hardware is not tarnished. The backsides of the rivets look like they might be tarnished or possibly never were polished? The handle is made from the same hard shell melamine or plastic.
