Here is a stunning cross-body wood purse by Rafael Sánchez. He is well known for his wood purses and unique style. This rare piece of art is hand painted and shelacked like glass. The rich gold color is accented by blue to turquoise blue, dark brown and beige, and slight green and yellow colors depicting the leaves. Size 8 1/2"x6 1/2". The dark blue woven strap with RS signature knot is 51" long and has a 24 1/2" drop. The beads are blue, green, and jade green and are 4.4mm to 17mm in size. The RS signature silk tassel is brown.
