RARE vintage 1960s Gunne Sax of California Black Label folklore print mini dress

This special dress is such a collector's treasure from the earliest years of Gunne Sax in 1969, before Jessica McClintock became part of the iconic brand. Black Label Gunnies are known for their theatrical, whimsical prints that look like something out of a renaissance fantasy! This dress was altered by one of it's previous owners, but the short hem and cap sleeves gives the dress a comfortable fit for spring and summertime. Featuring a corset bodice with ric rac trim, a rosebud floral embroidered neckline and empire waist. Print consists of flowers, birds, trees and medieval folk style characters.
