R.C. Gorman “Woman With Chile” Framed, Matted and Signed Art Print

RC Gorman Print - "Woman with a bowl of Peppers." . Signed & Dated (Although hidden by matte, the date is believed to be 1976. Double-Matted (Cream, Coral) & Framed (Wood). Artist R.C. Gorman (1931-2005) was once called the Picasso of American Indian Art by the NY Times. He was famous for his Navajo Native American works specializing in these beautiful lithograph prints, notice the lines are very modern and uncomplicated. His pieces always capture the eye with a simple and quite movement but the drama is bold. The hands and feet always tell a story in themselves. It makes you stop and study the entire work which is the point of great art. Gorman is a remarkable artist that produced his very own work for many years without assistance and now highly sought after. Condition is Used/Pre-Owned. Print is in excellent shape showing minor wear as expected with age. Dimensions: Print size 4 1/4” x 6 1/4". Frame size 8 3/4” x 10 3/4". Print is in excellent condition. Some minor frame wear. The back has a few small holes in the paper backing. Please refer to photos. No returns expected if print or paper backing has been removed, this will be considered not in original condition.
