allyrice2015 @agasco it's really too bad that people do that with alternates. I can't control what others sell their backpack for. I can only inform people so they don't feel taken advantage of. To give some sellers the benefit of the doubt, they may truly believe they have the screen accurate version, because they did not research properly. 💙 The alternate I purchased has black zippers and I paid $60 for it in Fall of 2020.

twilight413 The backpack you show is the one Bella has in New Moon. The one she has in Twilight, the first movie, has a black zipper so maybe that's why people are calling that one screen accurate. Just a thought.

allyrice2015 @twilight413 it's true the one in the first Twilight movie is different. It was confirmed by Catherine Hardwicke, in 2018 at FTF in Forks, that the backpack was in fact red. The backpacks I've seen listed for sale as screen accurate with the black zipper is orange. There is a girl on the Inside Bella's closet group on FB who has done a lot of research on it. Her name is Ilka Castro. :)

allyrice2015 @twilight413 While the orange one with a black zipper is a great alternate. It should not be advertised as screen accurate and listed at an unreasonably high price. I purchased my alternate just a few months ago and I paid $60. :)

By the way would you or anybody happen to know what that little logo is on the backpack with the black zipper from the first movie is. looks like some kind of cross or something, can't quite make it out and have always been curious so I could maybe duplicate it on the backpack I have.

twilight413 @rosedewitt yes I used to be on facebook but my account kept getting hacked even though I would change my password daily! I really miss it as I used to love checking out the Twilight groups and see what Bella clothes were for sale. So anyway you say that is a Hawaii surfing logo? Do you know the name? is it a company name?

It might be a while before I attempt to try and duplicate it, as I have a shop on etsy and I'm pretty busy right now. however I will certainly let you know if/when I am able to successfully duplicate it to where it is suitable to sell.
