susieque1218 @monablancas I'm sorry; but I'm afraid you're slightly mistaken. I understand if these aren't Japanese in origin; they're still very beautiful. However, Japanese pearls, aka "Akoyas", are saltwater cultured pearls that are cultivated in the seas of Japan. They're actually considered the finest quality cultured pearls in the world (short of South Sea pearls). (My late husband was a jeweler.) I apologize for any confusion. 🙏

susieque1218 @monablancas I only asked because you referenced the grade of the pearls. This grading system is only used for cultured pearls (as opposed to freshwater pearls). If your pearls are graded, as much as I hate to admit it, you're probably under charging for your set. If you have not already done so, you might want to check w/a local jeweler to have them appraised before you sell them. Just a suggestion. 🙂
