REICHENBACH ECHT KOBALT Handled Dish / Gold Gilded Cobalt Porcelain / Scratches

Porzellanfabrik Reichenbach was founded in Germany in 1900 by a group of nine independent porcelain decorators and took up production in 1901. They became famous for their gold gilded cobalt porcelain which still fetches high prices even though the company closed down in 2020. This is an elegant two-handled dish in Richenbach’s famous cobalt blue glaze with lots of gold gilding. The dish measures 7 7/8 inches wide and is in good condition with some light scratches to the blue glaze that only show up under strong light (see photos).
