@kat9752 Well, from the very end at the gold buckle, to the tightest hole is 41 inches..if you make a new hole to tighten to a smaller 38, it goes past the 1st gold Remington shell by 1 1/4 inch--& still fits thru band strip that holds the excess belt..want a pic?

@margaret_herz yes, it's neat:) just couldn't make work for my littlest son:/ I saw 3 hrs later U had sale on compass ~ did it sell? (That was anothr thing I 4got was going to ask that son if he has a compass from R0TC;) I really think I'm having a hard X still from covid-so tired😐
