RENEGADE Custom Upcycled Vintage Fur Felt Hat

Is it purple…is it rust? Who knows! It’s a melding of warm, rich colors that look different in every kind of light. This was a vintage fur blend cowboy hat. It had a cattlemen’s crease and the sweatband was in tatters. It’s taken a few days to get here, but I’m super pleased with the result! It’s size 7 3/8 but I’ve sewn in an adjustable band so you can wear it if your head size is smaller. It has a buckskin band, overlaid with buckskin laces, dyed bandana, and twine. The feather spray is a combination of dyed exotics and a ring neck pheasant feather. (Easy to remove by simply sliding them out. All said, this is a groovy hat, not some generic polyester hat with melted burn marks. I named it Renegade, because it feels unique and rebellious…for individualists only!
