What you have here is a late 1950s Resistol Open Road Style western hat. Self Conforming on a 6X beaver . So soft. True to its name, the crown can be shaped with hands easily with no steam or special process. I did the tear drop crown shape myself but it was in a classic cattleman crease when I acquired it. white ribbon makes this a true vintage. It's in such great shape with only the most faint and minor 3 dot stains on the brim you can't even notice. A Proper steam job or cleaning would get it out 100%.
