A dear fellow posher who works so hard and is so lovely was scammed due to having faith in others while getting taken advantage of by someone who lives in Gardena, CA. The shoes are kid leather so kate louboutins. She has contacted the authorities and has tried to do the most that she can for justice to be served. Her posh name is bmcguiree, she is so sweet and should never have had to go through this. She is offering a $100 reward to anyone who can find out how we can get her shoes back to her.

Wow and that's why I follow Posh rules 🚫 trades.

@ljfitness it is not against posh rules to trade. It is discouraged by them because Posh Protect will not cover the exchange.

And that's more reasons not to trade but it's not my money and I'm not complaining have a blessed day.

Try contacting posh again, and let them know you are having the shoes authenticated with an online service (example; "Authenticate First") price= about $20! message them with many pics, send pm the same pics and the authentication verdict. Important, did seller state item was authentic?? Good luck :)

How did she steal them I don't get it? I'm new to posh but maybe I missed something? I thought if you sell something posh gets the money before you're able to get a label they just hold it until the person accepts and if they don't they release the money to you anyway right? I just had someone send me fake CL and posh got my money back... How did this person steal yours?

@masonsmom22 I was just wondering that same thing
Mar 13Reply

nookie123
I mean it's really horrible, but why did you release the funds?
Mar 13Reply

@bmcguiree there are a few people confused about the situation, clear it up for them so they don't make the same mistakes darling. ❤️

Oh so basically when people ask you to "trade" all you're using posh as is an avenue to meet a potential buyer- there is no protection? Good to know.... So if you want to make trades the only way to safely do it is agree on a price and each pay the same amount then credit your account that you used to purchase... If you do it that way and you get a text book at least you got the dollar amount for the shoes right?

nookie123
@masonsmom22 no. ..when poshers do trades. ...it's typically for 3 dollars

What is her name? Look her up on fb, linked in, etc. harass the crap out of her. Post her name here, I'll do it, I don't care, I'll find out where she works and call her there ❤️ hugs, that's awful.

@lebaneselove do not try to track this person down yourself in any way. That cold be considered harassment & you could get into more trouble than her. Go to www.ic3.gov. This is the official FBI Internet Crimes Complaint Center Web page & file a formal complaint. They take these things very seriously , so be sure to have every ounce of proof you have ready to give to them. Good luck to you hun. I hope this helps you in some way.

If you trade you should only do so with people who have active stores / great ratings and history of sales. I'm sorry you got ripped off but I'd be careful and not advise anyone to go to this persons house . They are obviously criminal and who knows what they would do

@bmcguiree ok this is crazy to me!! She needs to be slapped several times!!! So the police could not do anything? Surly the address you mailed it to was good are you able to physically go there with officers? Get the label from the box she sent you to see what po it came from n see if they coul let you look a video footage to get her tag # from her car?? I mean I know it's a lot to go wherever she is but she needs to get ur money to u.

Mayb small claims if you can find out who she is ...you have proof for the courts to show them you just need to locate her and that would prob not be so hard. Just make a " bitter sweet trip " out of it!! I would go that far!!

@dealday omg, I need your help. The girl I helped in this post totally ended up ripping me off. I made payments to her to get a pair of shoes. Once it was finalized she starting ignoring me once I asked for the shoes to be shipped. Now I have her google pay info, email, phone number, instagram, and everything yet she still ducking and dodging. She CLEARLY knows what it feels like. She still should be reimbursing me. What should I do! Contact Miami PD?

lebaneselove
@dealday @dealday her names Mallory McGuire and I’m just so shocked at what she’s done after everything. I just want an explanation. That’s the reason I’ve been absent from posh for so long. I just saw how adamant and persistent she was with getting justice so I figure should I do the same. I have receipts... literally. Lol

@lebaneselove did you ever get it straightened out?
Oct 23Reply

msanderson28
@lebaneselove maybe you could mail her a demand letter, certified...then if she doesn’t respond in 30 days, take that and the documentation and file a warrant in debt in small claims court. (This is not legal advice ☺️, just a thought)
Oct 23Reply

lebaneselove
@msanderson28 I did thank you so much for your concern.

I believe if the transaction happened through the mail she may be able to pursue it through usps. Mail fraud is illegal
