Not harmful to the soundness of the product. 92% Nylon - 8% Spandex - Laminated to non-fibrous rubber It measures 15" from the edge of one waist straight across to the edge of the other waist, so up to 30" around the waist unstretched. Measures 6.5" from the top of the waist straight down the to bottom. Measures 9.5" from the inside of one leg seam straight across to the opposite inside of the same leg seam.
