Royal Crown Derby began in 1750 and quickly grew into a global brand at the forefront of exquisite fine bone china design and craftsmanship. They are best known for their Imari patterned china and these adorable animal paperweights. This cute sleeping dormouse measures 2-7/8 x 2.5 inches and is 2 inches tall - it is in excellent condition. The date glyph LIV on the bottom dates this piece to 1991 and it still has its original silver stopper. It is rare to find this particular paperweight outside of England.
